Our interview has been sent

I just sent out the interview questions to the dentist that we are questioning. This will give us some information to back up what we think about Mountain Dew. Recently I have being doing more research and reading up on Diane Sawyers visit to Central Appalachia. She followed specific people and the struggles that they were going through. Majority of people in that area either have no job or they work in a coal mine. This sounds like a very stressful and difficult life. To make things seem better, they are turning to prescription drug abuse, which is another huge problem in this area.

my relationship with THE DEW

When I hear about the Appalachian children's addiction to Mountain Dew, it suprises me a bit, but than again it also dosen't. Occasionaly, I will consume a Mountain Dew. I thoroughly enjoy the taste of it, and the high caffeine content gives me a little energy. I can understand the addictive qualities of it, because it has one of the highest sugar and caffeine amounts in most sodas. Supposably, it works as an anti-depressant for them, but I will figure that out during my upcoming interview.

our interview

Our project has been coming along somewhat nicely. I have completed writing the rough draft of the paper, which is focused on the whole topic of the Appalachian children. One of the sub-topics of our blog is the addiction of Mountain Dew. From what we have seen, and what I would imagine, Mountain Dew has a negative effect on the teeth, mind, and body when consumed in large quantities. In order to back this up, I have scheduled an interview with Dr. Balaji Srinivasin. He is in the field of dentistry and owns his own dental office. He should be able to provide valuable information with helping us distinguish the negative effects of Mountain Dew.
